Black Holes & Revelations
Artist(s): MUSE
Was R151.95 Now R121.56
Super Massive rock giants Muse return with their fourth studio album "Black Holes And Revelations". The band left clues as to the tone and content of the album by saying - "Some new songs deal with awol soldiers, zeta reticulans, the sound of Joe Meek's tape machine being thrown down the stairs, the private thoughts of general Zhu Chenghu, feeling strangely comfortable collecting firewood whilst wielding an axe and of course, how to store pasta for 12 years using nitrogen flushing."
The first single, future funk via Lovesexy-era Prince, 'Supermassive Black Hole' sees the band's sound take a further illuminating detour, whilst remaining nevertheless resolutely, distinctively, effortlessly Muse. The new Muse order is here. Disc 1 1. Take A Bow 2. Starlight 3. Supermassive Balck Hole 4. Map Of The Problematique 5. Soldier's Poem 6. Invincible 7. Assassin 8. Exo-Politics 9. City Of Delusion 10. Hoodoo 11. Knights Of Cydonia

Absolutely brilliant!!!!!!Reviewed by Unknown from Johannesburg, South Africa on 19 January 2007 113 of 202 people found the following review helpful: This christmas it was a toss up between Muse and The Lost Prophets as to which CD would make it home with me and I am so glad it was Muse!!! What an awesome CD, well worth its price and the best band in my opinion since U2!!! Their sound is infectious and the CD hasn't left the player since it was bought!! Here's hoping Muse last as long as U2 and keep giving us such brilliant music. If I could say one thing to them it would be 'thanks for Starlight' it has become a special song in my life and Matthew Bellamy knows how to write, sing and play guitar/piano!! Rock on Muse!! AMAZINGReviewed by Don Muller from Durban, South Africa on 10 August 2006 144 of 278 people found the following review helpful: Black Holes And Revelations is put simply, a masterpiece, and easily the album of the year. Muse seem able to take any genre and create songs that stand miles above all the competition. While it doesn't have quite the same energy of Origin Of Symmetry, and the album doesn't flow quite aswell as Absolution, Black Holes And Revelations has possibly the most ambitious and best collection of songs to date. Overall it is brilliant in basically every way, and it should truly join Radiohead's Ok Computer, REM's Automatic... and U2's Joshua Tree as one of the greatest albums of all time.
