Peter Mokoena is another great gospel talent to have emerged from this country. Peter has composed, featured and produced a couple of hit songs for some of the most well-known artists this country has ever had. He was the mentor and lead singer of the famous Pure Magic; his voice lead on various hit songs, such as the ever popular ZCC hit song "Ka Lifu Laka" and Maria Le Maria's track, "O tla Ntseba Ngwanaka".

He is also an excellent stage performer who is currently busy promoting his latest release ASAMBENI at churches and other live shows. The album is armoured with brilliant tunes like the self titled track Asambeni, Mona Mona, Egetsemane and Izinto. He co-produced the album with the maestro of gospel music Sipho Mbele and Pastor Langa Dube.
