They may have been dubbed "the new Arctic Monkeys" but this Scottish rock band has a sound all of its own. And because of the great tunes created by the four-piece, music fans in the UK sent HATS OF TO THE BUSKERS rocketing to the top of the UK album chart in January this year.

"Wasted Little DJ's", "Superstar Tradesmen" and "Same Jeans" have also made an impact on the UK singles chart. The view was formed in 2005, taking their fame from their local pub, The Bayview Bar, where they first becan rehearsing.

HATS OF TO THE BUSKERS was recorded with legendary producer Owen Morris, renowned for his work with the likes of Oaasis and The Verve. Critics have been full of praise with Mojo describing HATS OF TO THE BUSKERS as burning with pop ambition.

In its review UK mewspaper The Observer said it was a record that re-energises melodic guitarr music in the most irresistable fashion, recalling the euphoric punch of Oasis' "Definitely Maybe" of the Strokes' "Is This It" as it does so. Quite simply, as fans like to chant at the group' live shows, "The View Is On Fire!"
