Vitamin A, by maintaining healthy cell membranes, helps prevent invasion by disease-causing micro-organism. Vitamin A also stimulates immunity and is needed for formation of bone, protein, growth hormone, healthy skin, sight and mucous membranes.Vitamin D’s most important role is maintaining blood levels of calcium, which it accomplishes by increasing absorption of calcium from food and reducing urinary calcium loss. Both effects keep calcium in the body and therefore spare the calcium that is stored in bones. Vitamin D plays a role in immunity and blood cell formation and also helps cells “differentiate”.Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that protects cell membranes and other fat-soluble parts of the body, such as LDL cholesterol (the “bad” cholesterol).
Directions: One tablet to be taken daily with meals or as directed by a healthcare professional.
Caution:Do not exceed the recommended dosage as Vitamin A is stored in the liver and may build up to toxic amounts if excess of requirements are taken over a long period.Not to be taken during pregnancy or by persons wishing to fall pregnant. Keep out of reach of children.
