Indication: Supportive therapy for colds and chronic infections of the respiratory tract and lower urinary tract Composition: Each tablet contains: Echinacea purpurea herba dry concentrate 5.89 mg Echinacea purpurea radix dry concentrate 0.31 mg Equivalent to Echinacea purpurea fresh herb tincture 380 mg and Echinacea purpurea radix fresh root tincture 20 mg. Mode of action: Echinaforce is a fresh herbal preparation which acts as a "natural antibiotic" for non specific stimulant therapy. The action of Echinaforce brings about an increase in the body's own resistance. It may be used as a preventative prior to and as a treatment during the cold season. The processes of inflammation are reduced with Echinaforce and it can therefore also be indicated externally for septic problems such as abscesses, carbuncles and slow to heal septic or infected wounds
Dosage and directions for use: Adults and children over 12 years: 2 tablets 3 to 5 times daily Children 4 to 12 years: 1 tablet 3 to 5 times daily Tablets should be dissolved in the mouth half an hour before meals.
Side effects: Echinacea should not be taken if the patient has shown any allergy to it or the plant family Asteracea. In case of over sensitivity reactions, discontinue use and consult your practitioner. Contra-indication Progressive systemic diseases, such as tuberculosis, leucosis, AIDs and HIV infection, collagenoses, multiple sclerosis and other autoimmune diseases.
