The Micro USB Drive should be inserted into the standard USB port, but due to Chip on Board technology, it should be inserted facing upwards. If inserted incorrectly the drive will not be recognized.

This product is really all it is advertised to be.
The only risk with this product is that it is so small that you forget where you put it. It REALLY is tiny, in fact, I had to put a keyring on it, so that I didn't misplace it..
I bought it to use in my car radio, and it really is so small that it doesn't stick out much..
