A good reliable external hdd, with a bigger warranty than the internal.
And ignore the prev rating, clearly he hasnt noticed it runs on it's own power source and thus wont shut down with the machine, as it doesnt run on the same power source as the machine. Kinda stupid for the guy not to have noticed it.

This is a good product for everyday use. Transfer rates is very adequate and the 500GB space is just perfect for all your music, pictures and games.The only problem I found is that the drive does not shut down when the computer shuts down.
