I've been using Memorex DVD+Rs for a long time, happy to pay the premium for a low failure rate. But my first purchase of this product (the 50 piece cake) has been a complete disaster. The failure rate is upwards of 50%; I have thrown away more than a dozen disc before using half the units.
Now I know why this retails at a lower per-disc cost than the 100 pieces cake. Or maybe I'm paranoid and they didn't actually dump all the dodgy discs in this format. But I can no longer recommend this product. Buy the far cheaper alternatives – at least a high rate of failure won't cost you as dearly.
