The Logitech Mx 518 is an upgrade of the Mx 510, which are both fantastic mice! The Logitech Mx series has been designed with gaming in mind and it more than fulfils its criteria. The upgrades to this mouse now allow you to adjust its sensitivity using incremental adjustment buttons located above and below the mouse wheel. This function does not require drivers. The features that have been kept from the Mx 510 are the quick switch button, which replaces the need to push alt-tab and the back and forward buttons, which work well when using the internet.
All in all the Mx 518 is excellent! It tracks smoothly and can be used for a variety of tasks. Please note that it is designed for right handed people only, which can be viewed as a possible negative. I would recommend spending that little bit more on your mouse as it makes ones computing life that much easier.
