I have the 2gb version of this player. No problems with the battery (yet).

You should really get the 2gb one, 1gb just doesn't cut it... except if you want to be copying new music to your player every day or two.

My first impressions of this product were great. Good value for money, good design with a lot of functions and reasonable sound quality if you don't use the supplied 2 pairs of headphones(very bad sound, ergonomics and design), it made more sense to supply only 1 pair of headphones with better quality. The possibility of connecting 2 pairs is great, the screen is small but has enough quality to browse through menus without difficulty and is packed with functions, including an equalizer, file browser and voice recording with quite good quality.
My disappointment came after 2 months, when the battery started lasting less and less after every full recharge (now it lasts less than half an hour!), I've already contacted Kalahri enquiring about my warranty.
I sincerely hope it's only a deffect and not a characteristic of this otherwise well balanced and well designed MP3 player.
