Shane Miller is an undercover policewoman on the verge of emotional collapse ever since the death of her former roommate. Jennifer Burns was strangled with a silk scarf and left in an alley. The police figured it as a death by John� and it was closed. After lashing out at a suspect during a prostitution sting, Shane is suspended and on the verge of losing her badge, despite her partner Max's, endorsement. Max is completely against Shane�s personal crusade to solve Jennifer's murder, but is also very concerned about Shane's safety, so he reluctantly agrees to help. Together they attempt to bring down the crime ring before Shane meets Jennifer's fate.
