One Step Beyond is a series produced by the Discovery Channel that combines entertainment with scientific facts, and where unusual experiences and technological advances that seem impossible are exposed. Each half-hour episode contains ten segments with one thing in common: the extraordinary.

One Step Beyond exposes unusual cases or technological advances that seem inconceivable, but always contain within themselves the explanations for those mysteries, under the premise that the viewer must accept the scientific explanation of what he or she sees, however bizarre it seems.

During these times in which movie screens are full of fabulous personalities and inventions that are loaded with superpowers, some of them supernatural, the world is full of people with extraordinary abilities and unimaginable scientific advances.

Did you know that work is currently being done so that one-day people can exchange their personal information simply by shaking hands? That remedies are being produced from bee poison? That there are monks who are trained to feel absolutely no pain? Technology, science, the animal world and the supernatural are just some of the topics and only the beginning of many questions that will be answered in One Step Beyond.

"One Step Beyond is television-science within reach of all those who want to be inspired and acquire knowledge and at the same time want to be entertained," says Maurice Pauleau, executive producer of the series, which he considers no less than revolutionary.
