Not my favouriteReviewed by Mr Van Heerden Kritzinger on 03 February 2004 155 of 295 people found the following review helpful: I suppose I am one of those people who just did not get this movie at all. Visual and sensory overloading prevails where common sense goes begging. Its either one of the deepest movies ever, or a load of bollocks. I couldn't decide. Was this review helpful?
Natural Born ShockerReviewed by Cyril Klopper from Cape Town on 24 December 2002 149 of 313 people found the following review helpful: It was one of the least understood films of the 20th century with critics bashing the movie and mothers everywhere blaming Oliver Stone for the violence in schools. Perhaps Mr Stone over-estimated the general IQ of the viewing public. The film is only now beginning to gain acceptance in America. The bonus material is very little but very interesting. The director's commentary is truly insightful. Unfortunately our experiences in a crime filled world has jaded us to the obvious badness of almost every character in the movie. Still...A masterpiece!
