Mansfield Park: Taken from the poverty of her parents' home in Portsmouth, Fanny Price (Billie Piper) is brought up with her rich cousins at Mansfield Park.
There, Fanny begins to fall in love with her cousin Edmund (Blake Ritson), but when Mary Crawford (Hayley Atwell) and her brother Henry (Joseph Beattie) arrive in the neighbourhood bringing with them the glamour of London, her cousins Maria (Michelle Ryan) and Julia (Catherine Steadman) vie for Henry's attentions and Fanny watches in despair as her beloved Edmund succumbs to Mary's charms. Fanny now has to fight for her family and her one true love.
Northanger Abbey: Catherine Morland (Felicity Jones), a spirited young beauty from the country, enters into the debauched society of Bath where she meets two men vying for her affection - the dashing John Thorpe (William Beck) and the gentle Henry Tilney (JJ Field). She accepts an invitation to Northanger Abbey from Henry's grave and severe father, General Tilney (Liam Cunningham) where her mischievous new friend Isabelle (Carey Mulligan) and her passion for the dark and mysterious feeds her imagination.
Emma: Emma Woodhouse (Kate Beckinsale) is beautiful, rich, clever and rules over her father, Mr Woodhouse. She tries to influence the love-lives of their circle of friends in the small village of Highbury, with comic and disastrous results.
