Little Red Riding Hood: A classic story, but there's more to every tale than meets the eye. Before you judge a book by its cover, you've got to flip through the pages. For this story, we begin at the end. Furry and feathered cops from the animal world investigate a domestic disturbance at Granny's cottage, involving a girl, a wolf, and an axe. The charges are many: breaking and entering, disturbing the peace, intent to eat, and wielding an axe without a license. Not to mention, this case might be tied to the elusive "Goody Bandit" who has been stealing the recipes of goody shops everywhere. A fresh look at a an old tale.Reviewed by Louis from Secunda on 02 July 2008 173 of 433 people found the following review helpful: Very funny! I bought the DVD and we've watched it again and again. The movie also contains some catchy new songs and the humour is excellent.
The DVD includes a number of extras like "the making of" and deleted scenes.

rubbishReviewed by Vaughn from Cape Town, South Africa on 13 February 2007 486 of 1146 people found the following review helpful: I rented this movie expecting something like Finding Nemo/Shrek/etc. and it was a massive disappointment. Not only are the graphics cheap and nasty, but the jokes are lame and the random singing gets a bit much.
Maybe it appeals to kids, but I took it back after watching ten minutes. Was this review helpful?
