A heartwarming story of a remarkable young girl and her father, and their devotion to rescue and protect a group of geese, after developers destroy natural bushland.

Amy rescues a clutch of abandoned goose eggs, successfully incubates them and soon has a busy group of little goslings on her hands. But as her very special pets grow, so Amy and her father come to realise they have a problem. As winter approaches, geese begin their annual migration to warmer climates – and Amy’s geese are no different. As Amy is the only mother the young geese have known, she must teach them how to fly home.

With painstaking care and love, she and her father train the geese to follow their microlight aircraft, and in an epic flight Amy’s geese finally become one with their cousins in the wild.
