at first I was confused to see a spaceship and a revolver in the same show, but that's just what made Firefly a ground breaking hit.
Its tragic that it came to an end, the movie Serenity was an amazing follow up, but I still feel cheated out of the many seasons we could have enjoyed in the company of the crew
This is one of those shows that you definately have to see.
be warned though, as I mistakenly thought that this box set included the movie "Serenity", it does not.
"Serenity" on the disc is merely the title of an episode.

There is a lot of controversy regarding this show due to the lack of success caused mostly by the network (Fox) & its lack of advertising & marketing behind the promotion of the show.
Despite what most will tell you, this is a really great tv series with a lot of small touches which make it really work.
There is a movie which followed the series called, Serenity, however i would advise watching Firefly first BEFORE watching Serenity. Most reviewers will tell you otherwise.
For those who are huge Joss Whedon fans, Buffy or Angl, i would recommend this title. Two thumbs up!!!
