The larger than life photographs – over 200 in total – cover most of the larger mammals in Africa, broken down into six main groupings together with separate chapters on birds and reptiles, as well as a chapter on Madagascar. This collection of photographs is thus a tribute to an inspiring naturalist and an extraordinary artist who has sought to capture the very essence of the land and the animals he has grown to love.
