Also, the book encourages South Africans to fight HIV/AIDS with the same winning spirit they fought apartheid! Interestingly, Ugonna explains his inspiration in the following words: "Above all, I came to realize that I had fallen in love with a people and their struggle for a peaceful recognition of the worth and dignity inherent in their human essence."
