Grudem is the standardReviewed by Unknown on 16 March 2004 12 of 22 people found the following review helpful: As its name indicates, this book serves as an introduction to Biblical doctrine. This does not mean, however, that it is lacking in academic breadth and depth. It has simply been written without the difficult and unnecessary terminology that characterizes alot of theological textbooks available today. Grudem writes for the lay person and makes doctrine easy to understand and pleasant to read. It remains my favourite book in my library and I will always refer back to Grudem. His work is thorough, precise and practical and you find yourself reading chapters like you would a novel. Was this review helpful?
