The dramatic sequel to "Twilight", following the tale of a teenage girl whose love for a sexy sensitive vampire boy gets her into trouble. "I stuck my finger under the edge of the paper and jerked it under the tape. "Shoot," I muttered when the paper sliced my finger. A single drop of blood oozed from the tiny cut. It all happened very quickly then. "No!" Edward roared ... Dazed and disorientated, I looked up from the bright red blood pulsing out of my arm - and into the fevered eyes of the six suddenly ravenous vampires."
For Bella Swan, there is one thing more important than life itself: Edward Cullen. But being in love with a vampire is more dangerous than Bella could ever have imagined. Edward has already rescued Bella from the clutches of an evil vampire but now, as their daring relationship threatens all that is near and dear to them, they realise their troubles may just be beginning ... Too little Edward in New MoonReviewed by Fatima from Cape Town, South Africa on 23 August 2009 229 of 761 people found the following review helpful:
I found that New Moon dragged quite a bit and just kept me reading because I wanted to see if Edward made an appearance again. It was an okay read.. but the Jacob/Bella story doesn't interest me. The beginning and ending was cool though. The middle just felt like space-fillers.
This book just made Bella very annoying to me. Was this review helpful?

I loved New Moon....Reviewed by Carolyn from Pietermaritzburg, South Africa on 26 May 2009 493 of 1762 people found the following review helpful: I received my book on Friday and could not stop reading it - by Saturday morning (2am) I had read this entire book. Each chapter is so well written, each word keeps you wanting to read more and more! If this is what the 2nd book is like, I absolutely can not wait to start on Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. If you are a fan of forbidden love and intrigue, then do yourself a favour and invest in this book! Stephanie's written is so easy, yet so entertaining! You can not help but love the characters...this is what story telling is all about. Was this review helpful?
