Inconsistent and inaccessible textbookReviewed by Unknown from South Africa on 22 March 2006 424 of 812 people found the following review helpful: 'Investment management' tries to be an guide to portfolio management and investment analysis, but misses the mark by a mile. Basic financial concepts are not clarified before being used in the text, financial formulas are in a horribly inconsistent, inaccessible form (see page 60 for a gem), graph axis labels are missing in some instances and financial symbol definitions are not maintained throughout the text. Above all, the author(s) assume that Sharp financial calculators stand at the center of the universe, with obscure instructions of calculating values using a specific calculator model sprinkled throughout the text (this belongs in an Appendix!).
